Ask your Kindergarten student if they can sing you motion songs such as This Is My Trunk, I'm A Tall Tall Tree or Bim Bam Razamatazz! Or, rhyming songs such as Tingalayo and Funny Friends. We have been dancing Seven Jumps, and Kindergarten Reel. Soon, we will be working on choosing a dancing partner, and learning more dances and new songs! |

First Graders have been singing Magic Penney, All I Really Need, Song Of One. We have been dancing to Old King Glory, Down in the Valley, Chimes of Dunkirk, and Funny Friends. We moved and danced like butterflies and studied Frederic Chopin listening to Chopin's Waltz in Eb Major for piano. This tied in with First Grade classroom study of butterflies.

Second and Third Grade are re-writing words to Aiken Drum. The Second Grade will be singing their re-write at the All-School Meeting at the end of October. |

We have all been creating music and movement to Apple poems. Here is a picture of one of our apple poems, created by Fourth Grade. |
Third, Fourth and Fifth Grade have been writing pneumonic devices to help remember the lines of the treble cleff notes. Long gone are the days of "Every Good Boy Deserves Fun"... check one of our new creations. |

Third, Fourth and Fifth Grades have been studying Antonio Vivaldi's Four Seasons. We have had two classes of guessing the seasons. Students came up with stunning images and poetry to defend which season they thought was being played. What a GREAT project! |
