WELCOME TO OUR 2011-2012 SCHOOL YEAR!
Our current enrollment is 111 students: 18 kindergartners; 19 1st graders; 17 2nd graders; 19 3rd graders; 22 4th graders; and 16 5th graders. Our year long, all school theme is "Being My Best Me." Vocabulary words that we are all using to support the theme include: responsible, respectful, collaborative and industrious.
On Jan. 11th we had an all school assembly to watch a bullying awareness program by TIGER. TIGER is a program from Plymouth State University in New Hampshire. After the assembly some of the actors went to each of the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade classrooms to do a follow up workshop on bullying. You can help us by reminding your child of the theme of the program: Tell an adult; I say no to bullying; Get help; Exit if necessary; and Respect yourself and others.
Winter sports continues; the next session is Tuesday, January 31st.
