Mission Statement committee message
All year a mission statement committee composed of representatives of staff, parents and the community have been gathering feedback on a new mission statement for our school. At our March meeting we crafted a proposed mission statement and accompanying slogan about which we are again looking for feedback. Our time line is that we will have a final mission statement and slogan for the start of the 2009-2010 school year. Saxtons River Mission Statement
Saxtons River Elementary School is a community based school that provides a quality education emphasizing individualized learning combined with high social and academic expectations. We strive for a strong foundation in literacy, encourage creativity and aspire to instill a joy of lifelong learning in our students.
